I have recently used the hair texturizer in a different way, and it has made a huge difference in my humidity-challenged summer hair. Before I dry my hair after a shower, I take a dab of the texturizer, rub it between my palms, and then run my hands through my hair. (I use just a little dab.) Then I dry it and flat-iron it as usual. It gives my hair more body, smoothness, and shine, and after I straighten it, the usual waviness that recurs almost immediately from the humidity no longer happens. Overall my hair ends up much more manageable. I have used this product for about a year to tame my hair after styling it, but it never occurred to me until recently to try it on damp hair.
